The MEI Rigging Apprenticeship Program offers a blend of classroom, web-based, and on-the-job training. Apprentice trainees use these methods and more to gain proficiency in the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) necessary to perform at the Rigger 1 level. At program’s end a successful participant will have shown and been evaluated on their ability and competency on skill topics within the program. Our program has been designed to provide opportunities for individuals with minimal or no knowledge of the rigging and machinery moving industry to start a fulfilling career as a skilled rigger with the potential to advance and grow in the organization.
